Terms of Access
These terms apply when you register for or use the Shang Tai Chi online learning course. By registering, you confirm that you have read and accepted them.
Course purpose
The course provides general educational information about Tai Chi practice. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, physiotherapy or a substitute for care from a qualified health professional.
Health and safety
Consult your doctor or other qualified health professional before beginning an exercise program, particularly if you have a medical condition, injury, balance concern, are pregnant, or have recently had surgery. Stop immediately if you experience pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, chest discomfort or feel unwell. Use a stable chair or wall for balance when helpful and ensure your practice area is clear.
Your responsibility
You choose whether and how to participate. Work within a comfortable range, follow the safety guidance and accept responsibility for adapting or stopping the practice. To the extent permitted by law, you use the course information at your own risk. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian law.
Access
Access is personal to the approved email address. Do not share one-time login codes, reproduce the course, distribute lesson content or provide access to another person. We may suspend access where these terms are breached, for safety or security reasons, or when an agreed access period ends.
Intellectual property
Course text, videos, images, branding and teaching materials remain the property of Shang Tai Chi or their respective rights holders. Registration grants a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the material for private learning.
Availability and changes
We may update lessons, correct errors, change platform features or temporarily interrupt access for maintenance. Material changes to these terms will be identified by a new effective date.
